NIIT Technologies Ltd soars 0.4%, up for fifth straight session

NIIT Technologies Ltd gained for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 1265, up 0.4% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.16% on the day, quoting at 11175.15. The Sensex is at 37145.97, up 0.08%. NIIT Technologies Ltd has slipped around 3.77% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty IT index of which NIIT Technologies Ltd is a constituent, has slipped around 1.02% in last one month and is currently quoting at 15776.8, up 0.88% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 2.61 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 4.45 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark May futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1266.95, up 0.44% on the day. NIIT Technologies Ltd is up 19.7% in last one year as compared to a 4.61% spurt in NIFTY and a 17.85% spurt in the Nifty IT index.

The PE of the stock is 25.99 based on TTM earnings ending March 19.
