Jindal Steel & Power Ltd Spurts 2.09%, S&P BSE Metal index Gains 1.01%

Jindal Steel & Power Ltd gained 2.09% today to trade at Rs 109.75. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 1.01% to quote at 9071.34. The index is up 3.72 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, National Aluminium Company Ltd increased 2.03% and JSW Steel Ltd added 1.12% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 34.17 % over last one year compared to the 0.9% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

Jindal Steel & Power Ltd has added 15.83% over last one month compared to 3.72% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 1.14% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 31119 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 13.91 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 246 on 21 Sep 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 91.1 on 04 Sep 2019.
