ITC Ltd drops for fifth straight session

ITC Ltd fell for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 243.1, down 0.76% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.66% on the day, quoting at 11968.1. The Sensex is at 40598.58, down 0.5%.ITC Ltd has eased around 6.77% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty FMCG index of which ITC Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 5.02% in last one month and is currently quoting at 30889.5, down 0.82% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 50.69 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 111.79 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark December futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 243.95, down 0.95% on the day. ITC Ltd tumbled 13.75% in last one year as compared to a 10.11% rally in NIFTY and a 1.61% spurt in the Nifty FMCG index.

The PE of the stock is 21.68 based on TTM earnings ending September 19.
