Goa Carbon Ltd Surges 4.97%

Goa Carbon Ltd gained 4.97% today to trade at Rs 189.95. The S&P BSE Energy index is up 0.64% to quote at 4496.76. The index is up 4.43 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Adani Gas Ltd increased 1.43% and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd added 1.02% on the day. The S&P BSE Energy index went down 7.57 % over last one year compared to the 20.51% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

Goa Carbon Ltd has lost 13.78% over last one month compared to 4.43% gain in S&P BSE Energy index and 1.69% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1437 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 1504 shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 434.9 on 29 May 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 109.25 on 25 Mar 2020.
